eduroam (education roaming) is a service that offers secure wireless access to University and Research users on the move worldwide.
Users who visit an institution that adheres to the initiative (such as the Scuola Normale) are able to access the network through the same credentials that they would use in their own institution, without the need for further formalities at the host institution. For example, users of the Scuola Normale can go to another member institution and use their credentials (name.surname@sns.it) to access the host institution's eduroam network.
Instructions for SNS users visiting eduroam member institutions
- Select the eduroam network from the list of wireless networks available on your device
- Enter your email account as login credentials in the form name.surname@sns.it
- Accept the eduroam certificate and authenticate the device, if required
