Data Analysis Dashboard (BI)
The Data Analysis Dashboard (BI) service provides a centralized interface for the visualization, analysis, and reporting of the School’s institutional data. Through Business Intelligence platforms such as Pentaho and Power BI, users can access dashboards, reports, and information panels to support strategic and operational decision-making.
The content can be accessed from the BI Dashboard website, which is available only from the internal network or via VPN, subject to prior authorization and authentication with University credentials. Access to each dashboard must be requested through the Help Desk.
The Information Systems Service is available to analyze and design new dashboards and reports upon request from individual services.

- Secure and personalized access: Authentication via SNS account and specific authorization for consultation.
- Design on request: It is possible to request the Information Systems Service to create or adapt new dashboards for the specific needs of departments or committees.
Requirements
- Active SNS account: Required in order to authenticate and access the system.
- Account authorization: Required in order to consult dashboard content.
- Secure connection: Access is permitted only from the internal network of the Scuola Normale Superiore or via VPN, in compliance with current ICT policies.
- Updated browser: A recent and compatible browser is recommended to ensure the best possible experience, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.

Get started
If you do not yet have authorization, contact the Help Desk to request access to one or more dashboards.
- Connect to the Scuola Normale Superiore network or access it via VPN.
- Open an updated browser and visit the BI Dashboard website.
- Choose the dashboard or report you wish to consult and click on its name.
- Log in using your University credentials.
