Survey: online polls and questionnaires

Survey is the platform (based on limesurvey.org) for launching and processing questionnaires, maintaining the data on the School's own servers.

With Survey, you can create surveys with different question types, even interdependent ones. Questions are organized into groups and can be easily modified via a WYSIWYG graphical interface.

The integrated HTML template system ensures a high degree of graphical customization. Once created, surveys must be activated: they can be either public or with restricted access using a one-time password (token), different for each participant.

The results collected, regardless of whether the survey is public or private, can be anonymous or named.

There is a version of the product reserved for teachers and researchers called Research Survey.

Get started

1. Access to the platform is subject to authorization by the information services that administer the platform and ensure its proper operation and maintenance.
2. The request for user activation must be sent by email to the Help Desk, indicating the institutional email address, title, and project name. Once the account is activated, the applicant assumes the role of survey manager and, to this end, personally undertakes to comply with the applicable legislation regarding the protection of personal data, including EU Regulation 2016/679, Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and subsequent amendments, the Privacy Code, and the Code of Ethics for Processing for Statistical or Scientific Research Purposes published pursuant to art. 20, paragraph 4, of Legislative Decree no. 101 of August 10, 2018 – December 19, 2018.
3. The survey manager may request the activation of a group of users authorized to access, collect, and manage the questionnaire.
4. The survey manager is responsible for verifying the settings and methods of administering the survey, choosing between an anonymous or non-anonymous questionnaire, or whether or not to tokenize the respondents in order to send reminders or check for possible duplication of completion.
5. The person requesting activation is responsible for communicating the survey completion date to the information services. At the end of the investigation, the person responsible must request account deactivation by email to the Help Desk, specifying any request to retain/export the data from the concluded investigation in another format. In any case, 90 days after the closure date, the account will be deactivated and the data will be deleted.
