WiFi Eduroam

eduroam (education roaming) is a wireless access service that allows users of participating universities and research institutions to connect to the Wi-Fi network while visiting another participating institution. Access is via the credentials of the home institution, without the need for additional registration with the host institution. The School also participates in eduroam, both as the host institution and as the home institution for its users.

Features

• Wireless access at any eduroam member institution worldwide using your SNS credentials.
• Guest users from other eduroam member institutions can access the SNS wireless network.
• Secure authentication via eduroam certificate.

Requirements

• For SNS users: have a University account in the form name.surname@sns.it.
• For guest users: have the credentials issued by your home institution, which must be a member of eduroam.
• For guest users: have verified the connection methods indicated by your home institution.

Get started

Utenti SNS in visita presso un’istituzione aderente a eduroam:

1. Selezionare la rete eduroam dall’elenco delle reti wireless disponibili sul proprio dispositivo.
2. Inserire come nome utente il proprio indirizzo email di Ateneo nella forma nome.cognome@sns.it.
3. Accettare il certificato eduroam e autenticare il dispositivo, se richiesto.

Utenti ospiti di altre istituzioni in visita presso la Scuola:

1. Consultare le pagine informative predisposte dalla propria istituzione di appartenenza per le istruzioni di connessione tramite eduroam.
