Matlab Licenses for Students and Teachers

Scuola Normale Superiore has entered into a campus licensing agreement with MathWorks that allows professors, students, PhD students and staff to use MATLAB.

Through the dedicated SNS MathWorks portal, users can create a personal account linked to their institutional email address and access the products and services included in the license.

The license provides access to MATLAB downloads, MATLAB Online, MATLAB Drive, free online training courses and the support resources made available by MathWorks.

• Belong to an SNS eligible category: professors, students, PhD students or staff.
• Have an SNS institutional email address.

Get started

1. Access the SNS MathWorks portal.
2. Select the MATLAB download option.
3. Select the option to create a new MathWorks account.
4. Register using the SNS institutional email address.
5. Select “Student” or “Teaching” as the software usage type.
6. Validate the email address using the link received from MathWorks.
7. Select the department closest to the user’s application field.
8. Complete the registration process and access the available services without entering a License Key.
