Kalliope CTI4

Kalliope CTI4 allows users to use their office phone through the desktop application for PC, Mac and Linux and through the Kalliope CTI mobile app for Android and iOS. The service is connected to the SNS VoIP fixed telephony service.

Requirements

  • Have an SNS office phone.
  • Have an institutional account.
  • Be connected to the SNS LAN.
  • Connect to the VPN first when accessing from outside SNS.

Get started

  1. Download the KalliopeCTI4 client for Windows, Linux or Mac from the Kalliope website.
  2. Install the client by following the instructions in the installation package.
  3. Open the application Settings menu.
  4. Enter kalliope.sns.it as the server.
  5. Enter the username in the format name.surname, without @sns.it.
  6. Enter the SNS domain password.
  7. Set the softphone to KPhone mode for desktop and Android, or to ON for iOS.
  8. Save the settings.

FAQ

  1. Go to the App Store and select the KalliopeCTI4 app or use the QR code below,

  2. after installation, grant all the rights required by the app upon initial launch,

  3. in the Settings menu (the first option found by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the app), specify:
    server: kalliope.sns.it
    nome utente: name.surname (senza @sns.it)
    password: <SNS account password>
    softphone: ON
    The rest of the options are preset correctly.
    Once you've finished setting up your settings, click Save in the upper-right corner of the app.

To install KalliopeCTI4 on Android, follow these steps:

  1. Accedere al Playstore di Google e scegliere l'App "Kalliope CTI" o usare il QR code,

  2. after installation, grant all the rights requested by the app during the first launch,

  3. in the Settings menu (first item found by clicking on the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left corner of the app) indicate:

    • server: kalliope.sns.it

    • nome utente: name.surname(without@sns.it)

    • password: <SNS domain password>

    • softphone: KPhone Mode

  4. The rest of the options are preset correctly.

  5. Once you've finished making settings, click Save in the top right corner of the app.

    Download the client MAC

  2. during the first launch, in the Settings menu (the first item found by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the app), enter:

    • server: kalliope.sns.it

    • nome utente: nome.cognome (senza @sns.it)

    • password: <SNS account password>

    • softphone: Modalità KPhone

  3. the rest of the options are preset correctly,

  4. when you've finished setting up your app, click Save in the upper-right corner.
