Copernico: Administrative File Server
Copernico is the administrative file server of the Scuola Normale Superiore used for storing and sharing documents managed by the central administration. Data is organized into shared workspaces assigned to the different offices and services of the School.
The platform is hosted on Microsoft Cloud infrastructure and can be accessed both from the internal network and remotely using institutional credentials. Access is available through a web browser or by synchronizing folders on a personal device.
Copernico allows users to work directly on cloud-hosted documents and keep files and folders synchronized between their computer and the shared School environment.
For macOS users, integration is available through Microsoft OneDrive, while Linux users can rely on compatible open-source synchronization tools.

Get started
- Access the Copernico portal using the institutional account.
- Open the main service page.
- Select the button associated with the user’s service folder.
- Open the folder assigned to the organizational unit.
- Manage files and folders directly within the cloud environment.
- Select the “Sync” function to synchronize data locally.
- Confirm synchronization through Microsoft OneDrive.
- Access synchronized folders through the operating system file manager.
