Google Mail

Google Mail is the SNS email service for users of the Scuola. It allows access to the institutional @sns.it mailbox via web, mobile device or desktop client. Former students may be assigned an @alumni.sns.it mailbox.

Requirements

• Institutional credentials provided upon arrival at the Scuola.
• An active account di Ateneo.
• Regular password changes, at least every 3 months.
• For mobile access, the SNS email address and associated password.

Get started

1. Go to mail.google.com.
2. Enter the account di Ateneo credentials.
3. On Apple devices, add a new sns.it account in the Mail app or use the Gmail app.
4. For the Mail app on Apple, select Gmail as the account type.
5. Enter the address name.surname@sns.it and the password.
6. Follow the automatic configuration and choose whether to synchronise mail, contacts and calendars.
7. On Android devices, open the Gmail app and add the account from the menu.
8. Follow the guided procedure shown on screen.
